¿problemas con el ipod?

hola

quisiera preguntarles algunas dudas sobre el ipod.

lo que paso fue que hace unos dias quiese cambiar las canciones de mi ipod
pero este trabo la PC y no me dejo hacer nada despues con mucho trabajo
le di formato, el itunnes no me lo reconocio, salieron ventanillas que le
faltan archivos, luego que esta corrupto en fin no puedo ni escuchar musica y
mucho menos introduccirle nueva, si alguien puede ayudarme se lo agradecere

Si te animas y quieres intentar algo antes de llevarlo a reparar llevatelo mañana a Kimera. buscame y le damos un formato a bajo nivel con Linux, yo repara uno de esa forma. igual puede que te aguante un tiempo o lo ancance a reparar. tambien toma encuenta que con el formato puede quedar inservible pero se haria como una ultima opcion.

si vas avisame, checare el foro antes de ir para llevarme la laptop.

To reset your iPod:

* 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
* 2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Tip:
o If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
o If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

* Note: Because Restore erases all of the songs and files on iPod, make sure to back up any files you've saved on the iPod disk. All of your songs, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, and games can be loaded back to your iPod provided that you have them stored in your iTunes Library.

How to restore your iPod:
For Windows:

* 1. Make sure you've reinstalled the latest version of iTunes.
* 2. Open iTunes, and then connect your iPod to your computer.
* 3. After a few moments, it will appear in the source list in iTunes. If the iPod's display doesn't show "Connected" or "Do not disconnect" you may need to put the iPod into disk mode to proceed.
* 4. Select your iPod in the source list and you will see information about it appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes windows.
* 5. Click the Restore button. You will be prompted with one or more restore options that may prompt iTunes to automatically download of the latest iPod Software. The 4 possible restore options are:
o Restore Option 1: Restore - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod.
o Restore Option 2: Use Same Version - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod even though a newer version is available.
o Restore Option 3: Use Newest Version - Restores with the latest iPod Software on your computer.
o Restore Option 4: Restore and Update - Restores with the latest iPod Software on your computer.
* 6. A progress bar will appear on the computer screen indicating that the first stage of the restore process has started. When this stage is completed, iTunes will instruct you to leave iPod connected to your computer to complete restore.

It is critical that the iPod remains connected to the computer or iPod Power adapter during this stage. En todo caso dale una leida al sitio de soporte de apple y si nos pudieras poner una captura de pantalla de las "pantallitas" que te salen mucho mejor, eso lo puedes hacer oprimiendo printscreen (o imprpantalla) y luego metiendote a paint y dandole en edicion / pegar, luego guardar como (jpg) le pones nombre y lo adjuntas al foro o lo subes a imageshack.

Hey, esto mismo le paso a un primo con iPod Video de 80 Gb.
Te hago una recomendación bastante efectiva.

Lo que te paso muchas vecez es parte de un error por parte de la fabrica en tu iPod, prueba llamando a Apple y explicales que le paso, si tienes suerte te diran que te mandan un embalaje para que mandes tu iPod y Apple te hace la reposición de tu aparato sin un costo elevado.

Prueba marcandole a Apple, no te tratan tan mal.

Yo tengo un problema recién con el iPod.
Tengo un Nano de 4 GB, y estoy usando el iTunes 8.0.2.20

El problema es que el programa sí me sincroniza las canciones, pero le quiero poner las fotos con el menú que se abre en dispositivo:
selecciono la carpeta, le pongo palomita en el botón de sincronizar, pero cuando le doy "sincronizar iPod" nomás se queda cargando y nunca se añaden las fotos.
He intentado añadir al menos carpetas con 4 fotos, pero igual se queda cargando eternamente y nunca mete las fotos. En la barra de arriba nomás sale "sincronizando"; no pone que cuántas fotos faltan ni nada.
Estoy seguro de que no es un problema de espacio ya que al ipod le queda más de la mitad.

¿Alguien sabe dónde puede estar el problema?

EDIT: Ahora puedo especificar más el problema. El problema es cuando añado específicamente una carpeta de fotos que incluyen varias carpetas más adentro. Cuando selecciono una carpeta de ese tipo, las fotos no se sincronizan. Ni siquiera si selecciono sólo una de las carpetas secundarias las fotos son capaces de actualizarse.

El iPod únicamente me sincroniza las fotos cuando selecciono una carpeta plana para sincronizar, únicamente con archivos de imagen adentro y ninguna subcarpeta.

La solución quizás sería crear una única carpeta que incluya todas las fotos, pero esto sería demasiado molesto, ya que serían más de 10,000 fotos. Espero que alguien pueda ayudarme.

Se me hace muy raro.. el iPod deberia diferenciar sub-carpetas.

Checa un detalle.. en las carpetas a seleccionar de prua casualidad no tienes alguna imagen en un formato que el iPod no acepta?? esto es el error más comúin de crasheo que he visto.

MMm cuáles son las que no acepta?
Que yo recuerde tengo puras jpeg.
Anteriormente he llegado a incluir alguna gif, que el pod no procesa, pero no por eso se crashea.

has intentado verificar que las carpetas o el nombre no tengan caracteres raros ?? (#$%&,etc,etc,etc) y tambien no creo, pero el nombre es corto o es largo? por que hay una diferencia en:

-mis vacaciones.jpg

-mis vacaciones en donde estoy sonriendo detras de la montaña y a un lado esta mi prima que le gusta jugar futbot y tiene buenas calificaciones en la escuela.jpg

solo para checar puedes bajar SharePod e intentar meter las imagenes con esa herramienta. si funciona entonces es el querido itunes que esta haciendo sus gracias de nuevo. en cambio si no entran las imagenes, entonces empezamos a sospechar de un problema con el ipod o algun archivo por ahi

Que tantas fotos le pretendes sincronizar?? Por que si le demandas una gran numero de golpe el iTunes se alenta un chooorro.. Las canciones las pasa una por una, pero con las imagenes se ahueva y lo quiere meter todo de golpe.

Aunque si ya bajaste el sharepod ya no deberias tener problemas.

Voy a reinstalar el iTunes a ver qué rollo.

EDIT: Ora sí agarró el SharePod, nomás desinstalé el iTunes. Nomás que no venía cómo añadir fotos -.-

yo lo he utilizado solo con mp3 y era un ipod primera generacion...

pero has probado jalando las imagenes a la carpeta correspondiente?, ya que me imagino que deberia tener una carpeta no se imagino img. imagenes, etc. el programa esta diseñado para arrastrar y soltar a si que en teoria deberia de funcionar, pero identificando donde se encuentran las imagenes
